All FAQs Which printer is best for printing restaurant menus?
For A4 menus that change often, ASG suggests a color inkjet such as the Epson EM-C800, which is the cheapest to run because the ink is refillable.
For A3 menus or posters, choose an A3 color multifunction such as the Kyocera M8124cidn. Check heavy or art paper with our team first, because limits differ by machine.
Is it cheaper to print menus in-house or at a print shop?
It depends on how often your menu changes. If it changes twice a year, a print shop usually makes more sense. If you print promos or change prices almost every week, renting a color printer is more practical.
Can it print on heavy or art paper?
Yes. Our color machines take paper from 64 to 255 g/m². Send us the paper you usually use on WhatsApp and we'll check it against the machine specs before quoting.
Can menus be laminated?
Yes, menus printed on an ASG rental machine can be laminated once dry. A laminating machine isn’t included in the rental.
One contract for several outlets?
Yes. A restaurant with several outlets needs just one rental contract with ASG, with the bill itemized per outlet.
Does ASG rent receipt printers?
No, ASG doesn’t rent thermal receipt printers. We focus on printers and photocopiers for menus, promos, and office documents.
